I was born in Goderich, Ontario in 1943, but returned with my parents to the UK in 1944. Many years later I returned with my wife in 2001 to show her where I was born (the prettiest town in Canada so they said). We loved that town and what we saw of the Country, Toronto, Niagara Falls, and the Georgian Sound. In 2010 my daughter emigrated to Canada (Montreal) and again I flew out to stay with her and her family in order to show my daughter where I was born and we hired a car which took us by the Algonquin National Park and I loved paddling a canoe around many of the lakes feeling like a frontiersman. Alas, we are now retired and living on a pension, so I doubt we will be able to see more of this country that I consider mine.
