Hoar Frost adventures
I moved to Manitoba in 1999 with my husband who grew up there. Every year the hoar frost fascinated me. Hoar frost was an opportunity for me to dress up our kids and take them out for winter wonderland pictures. The best hoar frost spot for us was by my in-law's, who lived at the edge of the Duck Mountain Provincial park. A trip here, only 45 minutes away from us, meant a chance at seeing bears, moose, deer, elk, a view of the northern lights, and not to forget a guarantee of a home cooked dinner before heading back home. Although we have only been away for a few months, Canada is forever in our hearts. True north strong and free.
