Originally born in Montreal, but as a toddler, taken by foster parents to live in the U.K, I may never have experienced Canada's great outdoors. Fortunately, at the age of 13, I was able to return to visit my birth city, and most importantly, my birth family. However, it was not until many years later, that I had my first experience in the great Canadian outdoors, in a cottage on a tiny lake in Ontario. More recently, my Canadian cousins, introduced me briefly, to the wonders of Algonquin Park, including close ups with moose, bear paw prints and the beautiful
Madawaska River (photo attached). I loved the awesome natural beauty, tranquility and privacy offered, as well as getting close up with nature. Now, a mother of 4 children, I would love to take my family to my birth country, and together experience the wonders of the great Canadian Outdoors.
